The ARRL RTTY ROUND-UP, the first digital contest of the year, begins 1800 UTC Saturday, ends 2400 UTC Sunday (January 7-8, 2012).
It saw a lot of activity and in 2011 the Contest committee received 1600 logs from 132 countries. That means about 500k contacts have been logged!
Activity on 10 meters wasn’t too high even if conditions improved a lot from 2010; but this year we should find more stations as everybody will keep a special eye on the band after having experienced improved conditions in the last few months.
There is only the multiband category divided in Low Power and High Power, each single or multi operator.
Maximum activity time must be 24 hours and no packet cluster is allowed for single ops!
Multipliers include US states and Canadian provinces, as well as DXCC countries. Each counts only once (NOT ONCE PER BAND).
So be aware of this study the correct QRX strategy for yourself!!
P49X is the top station for SOHP and has lead the way for many years.
Will Ed break the 4K QSO wall?
GL in the costest!
