Just in – a message from our friend and reguar DxCoffee reader, Waldi, SP7IDX who would like to inform the Dx community of his future DX plans in combo with Mek, SP7VC. Both friends will be on the air soon from Mageroya Island EU-044, QTH locator KQ21VC, from July 20- 27,2012.Waldi, SP7IDX and Mek, SP7VC will be active as LA/SP7VC and LA/SP7IDX . Activity will be holiday style with plans to use two stations, one for HF and the second for 50Mhz. The operation will utilize 80 through 6 meters using SSB and RTTY modes. They also plan on taking part in the IOTA Contest 2012.
Equipment used will consist of:
IC-746,IC-7000, TS480SAT + Heil Headset – HC6
antenna farm – HEX-beam by SP7IDX TECHNOLOGY 20-10m,
R-7 vertical 20-10m, 6el yagi for 6m, 2 x inv L-80-40m,
PA for HF and 6m.

Waldi, SP7IDX and Mek, SP7VC, during their travel to Mageroya Island will probably be active from the island of Seskarö
EU-139, QTH locator – KP15VR, as SM/SP7IDX and SM/SP7VC, in the evening or the night of 19 July and through the following morning.
QSL also OK via home call. Logs will be uploaded in LoTW
