The FGC DX Group (*Foundation for Global Children) has announced their DXpedition to Bhutan, operating with the call A5A, from May 24, 2012 until June 6.
The team will be composed of:
JH1AJT / KH0WF – Zorro – A5, A5A, A51A
JJ1LIB / N1GO – Mr.Yutaka Nomura – A52F
ZL1GO – Mr. Akinori Seko – A52GO
VR2KF – Mr. Kazuhiko Fijita – A52KF
KL2A – Mr. Jon Kimball – A52X
They will be operating from 80 to 6 meters, including the WARC bands on SSB, CW, and RTTY. They will use high gain antennas, employing receive antennas, and running amplifiers on 3 stations. Their QTH will be on the mountain.
Bhutan is 51st on the Most Wanted 2011 Worldwide List, and 23rd for North America.

The operator 15m SSB asked someone to record him. I recorded about 2 minutes before he said he was going to try 10M. He gave his call and asked to have that recording emailed to him. I have the wave file, but missed his home call.
