50,000 LoTW Users

On the 1st of May Dragan Pavlovic (YT3PDT) was the 50,000th user to have successfully completed the registration process for the Logbook of the World (LoTW), while another five thousand have started the registration process but have yet to finish .This impressive number can only help to confirm LoTW’s growing popularitywith ham radio operators all over the world. At the moment there have been approximately 423 million QSOs uploaded to the system and feedback on 56 million of them may be found in other logs. Three million files have been uploaded so far and it’s not unusual to wait just a few days to have the log uploaded after a big contest  (especially after the CQ WW SSB and the CQ WW CW).

Dave Patton, NN1N, ARRL Membership and Volunteer Programs Manager said, “We look forward to planned, long-sought improvements and simplification, and are gratified that so many people have helped the system grow and become more and more useful.”
