Dr. Charles W. Powell, NK8O, will be operating from Mwanza, on Lake Victoria, Tanzania, with the call 5H9CP from 11-22 June, 2012.He is a CW, QRP and straight key operator.
The rig on this trip will be an Elecraft KX3 and antenna arrays will depend on the trees and whether a dipole, loop, or vertical will be the best for the site from which he chooses to operate.

The hobby comes only after his obligations at the Nyakato Health Center, of course.
