The Dudal family, immediately following the MU/OT9Z operation, will head south to France and be active as F/OT9Z from CHAUSEY Island ( IOTA EU-039) July 27-29, 2012.This activity will be valid for DIFM (MA004) and WLOTA (0424) .
EU-039 has been worked by 51.2% of IOTA chasers, so it’s not exactly one of the hottest spots out there…but, after a quick search on the IOTA database, we can see that this is a new one for IOTA Marathon (the last activation of EU-039 was made by the Dudal family during the 2011 IOTA Contest).
The Dudal family plans on entering the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 28-29) using the special callsign TM7T. As you may know, all IOTA QSOs made during the IOTA Contest may be credited directly without undergoing card verification.
