During the weekend (June 23-24) you’ll have the opportunity to choose between the King of Spain SSB Contest starting Saturday at 1200 UTC and finishing on Sunday at 1200 UTC and the Marconi Memorial CW running between Saturday 1400 UTC and Sunday 1400 UTC.For the former, bands range from 160 to 10 meters and the categories are: single operator single band, single operator all bands and multioperator. You’ll get 3 points for each QSO with EA stations and 1 point with non EA stations. The multipliers are: the number of Spanish provinces worked (see list below), the number of DXCC entities worked (also counting: GM3-Shetland, JW-Bear, IT9-Sicily and 4UVIC-ONU Vienna International Center). As exchange, EA stations will give their RST report and the province code:

The Marconi Memorial Contest HF CW 2012, organized by Fano ARI section, commemorates the II Century of Radio and its father: Guglielmo Marconi. It’s a World-Wide competition: everybody can work everybody, only CW.
Time: from 14.00 UTC Saturday till 14.00 UTC Sunday.
Categories: 1) Single Operator; 2) Multi Operator. Subcategories 1: L) Low Power (max 100 watt out); Q) QRP (max 5 watt out). The operators L and Q in the class 1 will be marked and awarded.
