The Italian Sezione ARI of Cosenza will be active during the upcoming IOTA Contest from Dino Island (IOTA EU-144). The call used will be ID8/IQ8CS.
The team will be composed of: Franco IK8FKP, Francesco IZ8EQF, MassimoIZ8JBO, Costantino IZ8EPX, Antonio IK8UHA, Marco IW8RMN, Antonio IW8PPZ, Emilio I8SUE, Massimiliano IZ8EPY, Pietro IZ8FWN, Antonio IW8ROL, Peppe IZ8EBI, Renato IZ8JCV, Pasquale IZ8IYX, Francesco IZ8JFA, Gianluigi IZ8EWB, Rocco IK8ERL.
Dino Island is the bigger (0.5 squared kilometers) of the two Calabrian isles.
The Team will take part in the contest in the “DX-Pedition” category. Their equipment will consist of the following:
An FT-2000, a seven element tri-band beam up nine meters, a monoband vertical for 40 meters and half slopers for low band operations.
