The EUROPEAN HF CHAMPIONSHIP is a contest, organized by the Slovenia Contest Club, to take place during the first weekend in August. Only Europe to Europe contacts will count. The contest period goes from 12:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC (August 4, 2012).All amateur bands from 1.8 MHz through 28 Mhz, except WARC bands, are good for this contest. You can compete either in CW only, SSB only, or both (mixed). Only single operator stations are allowed, but they can choose to compete in low power (100W or less) or high power categories.
Along with the usual RS(T) report, operators must also give the last two digits of the year of their first ever official amateur radio license.
Multipliers are different two-digit numbers, meaning the last two digits of the year of an individual operator’s first ever official amateur radio license. The multiplier is counted only once per band regardless of mode.
The Cabrillo file format is the standard for logs. All logs submitted in Cabrillo format must be uploaded from the Log Submission page no later than 9 days after the contest (Monday 23.59 UTC). The contest web site is http://lea.hamradio.si/scc/euhf/euhfc.htm.
